How to Make 2020 Your Best Year in Blogging

So the year 2019 has finally come to an end, it went so fast, like really fast. If I have to do a Google review of the Year 2019 for our blog, all I can say that I have written 19 articles this year. Hopefully, the year 2020 will be much fever more eventful in comparison to 2019.

Let’s talk about how you can make 2020, your best year in blogging.

I started this blog somewhere in the maid of 2007, which means the blog is almost a decade and a half old. And it’s been over two decades for the blogging industry for its existence.

Which means I have been there s. So here are a few things that you should keep in mind if you are a blogger and you want to succeed in 2020.

Do what you love

It is the number one thing that I would suggest to every brother out there. If you have been working on something and it is not working for you, maybe it is time that you sit back and think about what’s missing.

Maybe you do not love the topic that you have chosen for blogging, perhaps you do, and perhaps, you are not putting much effort. Majority of people face this, because they pick something they think is lucrative in the long run, but do not love it, so they stop doing it.

If you are not into motivational quotes, I would like to suggest one right now. Maybe you have already read it somewhere.

“If you do what you love, then you may not have to work for the rest of your life”

These are not exact words, but it is roughly similar to something which was said by Steve Jobs. And here is a takeaway for every blogger.

When you blog about something you love, you don’t have to put extra effort in it, as you already know about it, you like to research about it, you have more knowledge about it, and even write about it every single day.

So, make sure you do what you love. If you’re not sure how to do that, you can read our previous articles. I have written about it in detail, how you can pick staff which is also profitable.

Don’t try to be active on every platform

It’s 2020, and we have dozens of social media platforms, each one of them has got a huge audience. Several years ago, there were only two main social media platforms, that is Twitter and Facebook.

Even Facebook and Twitter weren’t there 15 years ago, there were still bloggers, making good money from their blogs.

What I am trying to say here is, you don’t have to be on every available platform. Yes, it is exciting to see a massive audience on a platform that you can capitalise on, but it is not worth your time to be active on each platform, especially if you are a solo blogger.

Pick one platform, or maybe two platform, and then try to be super active on these platforms. It is not essential to have a huge following on a social media platform, but it surely really helps.

Outsource Unprodictive Work or Build a team

Due to heavy competition in blogging, it is difficult to succeed in any niche, if you are doing everything on your own. There are a lot of bloggers out there who can pull an all-nighter to put in more hours than you.

So, a Smart blogger would be someone who you will be able to outsource the work, that does not require expertise and invest time in things he is expert at.

You can either outsource your work or build a team that can help you in blogging. It can be managing your social media channel, doing research work for you, creating graphics, editing videos, maybe writing content.
